Rule 4 of the rules of 28th February 1900 made under the provisions of Part VII. of the Companies Act 1896 enables the Court to dispense with the requirements of any rule, but the Court will not exercise this power so as to dispense with the filing of accounts by a liquidator under rules 9 (3) and 10 and Schedule IV. to the rules on the ground of expense.
