The cancellation by the testator of his own name and those of the witnesses to a testamentary writing, without obliterating them, is not such a destruction of the instrument as is required by the Wills Act; and a memorandum at the foot of the instrument, signed by witnesses but not by the testator, stating that it had been revoked by the testator in their presence, will not operate as a revocation.
