A writ was endorsed for an account, and no appearance was entered for the defendant. The plaintiff then obtained an order under Order XV., r. 1, directing accounts to be taken by the Chief Clerk, and the Chief Clerk gave his certificate as to the amount found to be due. The plaintiff then applied, by way of motion, to the judge taking the ordinary Chamber business in the Practice Court for leave to enter judgment for the amount found to be due.
