Sec. 5 of "The Administration of Justice Act 1885," applies to all county court judges, whether appointed before or after the Act No. 710, and under it any judge who has attained the age of seventy years is liable to be called upon by the Governor-in-Council to retire on a retiring allowance, and upon being so called upon is not entitled to show cause or advance any reasons why he should be retained in office, but his office ceases either at once or at the time specified by the Order-in-Council, whether he has received notice of it or not.
