In an action for a slander imputing to a woman unchastity, the plaintiff is restricted to the special damages laid in the statement of claim and proved at the trial, as in the case of any other words not actionable per se, and cannot recover general damages for loss of reputation:—dissentiente HIGINDOTHAM, C.J.
